This the first day of your journey based on our schedule. After breakfast leave for Yala National Park. On your way you will pass the most beautiful coastal areas such as Kaluthara, Benthota, Ambalangoda, Galle, Mirissa and Mathara etc. Also, you will get the chance to see ruins of Galle Port, situated in Galle, the best preserved colonial sea fortress in the whole of Asia. This is the main city in the most southerly part of the island, 119 km from Colombo, Galle was known before the arrival of the Portuguese in the 16th century, when it was the main port on the island.In the mean time you will get a chance to go for a boat ride to see the world largest blue whales in the southern coastal area. You will reach to Yala wild life park in the evening and overnight stay in Hotel Yala Village.

After breakfast, early in the morning, you will go for a safari in Yala National Park by jeep.

The Sri Lankan wild Elephant, the best attraction at Yala can be seen in small and large herds. Herds of spotted deers, Monkeys-the pinkish rhesus and the Grey-faced Languor, Wild buffalo and wild boar could give you a good shock and the sight of a leopard is drinking water at a water hole could be a memorable experience to you. The peacock is easily seen, the most famous of the birds at Yala. The painted stork, many varieties of heron, the spoonbill, the bee-eater, parakeets, and king-fisher and wood pecker are some of the birds can be seen in the park.

You will leave for Nuwara Eliya in the afternoon via Ella. On the way, you will get the chance to eyewitness the magnificent view of Ella gap and Rawana water fall. In the evening you will reach to Nuwaraeliya, the little England of Sri Lanka. Check in Grand Hotel, Nuwaraeliya and overnight stay there.

After breakfast, you will get a chance to see the beauty of Nuweraeliya city, Gregory Lake and you can play Golf if you are interested at the Golf Club. Nuwaraeliya, the famous health resort of Sri Lanka's Central Highlands. On your way to Kandy you will visit tea plantations and witness the manufacturing of the world famous "Ceylon tea".

In the evening you will reach to Kandy and overnight stay at Chaya Citadel, Kandy.

After breakfast, leave for Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Pinnawela which is about an hour drive from Kandy. Pinnawala is one of the biggest elephant orphanages where the wild elephants that were lost their herds by human-elephant conflict. Most of them are baby elephants. The elephants are fed at the orphanage and bathed in the nearby river twice a day. You have the chance to go for an Elephant Ride at Pinnawala.

In the evening, you will arrive back at Kandy. You will take sightseeing and shopping tour of the city. Kandy city is very famous for Gems, Jewelries and Silk cloths. In the evening visit the Temple of the sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha. Late in the evening view the Kandyan cultural performance at the Kandyan Cultural Center.

Overnight stay at the same hotel Chaya Citadel in Kandy

In the morning, after breakfast you will leave for Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden at Peradeniya. Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden is consisted of thousands of plants and trees, an Orchid House with an outstanding collection, an Octagon Conservatory, Fernery, banks of bamboo and numerous flower borders with cannas, hibiscus, croton and colorful bougainvillea. This garden is best known for its collection of Orchids the largest in Asia.

In the afternoon, you will travel to Dambulla Rock Cave Temple, where you can see a fascinating range of Buddha's statues with all kinds of postures. This rock is 500 ft. high and a mile round the base. Here is found the famous rock temple dating to the first century B.C. The caves of Dambulla sheltered King Valagambahu during his 14 years of exile from Anuradhapura. On your way to Dambulla, you will visit a Spice Garden at Matale. After the visit, you will be proceeding to Habarana and you will be staying overnight at the hotel Chaya Village (Habarana Village).

After breakfast you will leave for Polonnaruwa.

When Anuradhapura had to undergo many Indian attacks, Polonnaruwa became the next kingdom of rule. The city was equipped with three concentric walls, redecorated with parks and gardens. The city surrounding plain was filled with water by an irrigational network of man-made lakes and canals. You will see Galviharaya, Sea of Parakrama, one of the ancient reservoirs, and the statue of King Parakrambahu the great who built it.

Today, those buildings are preserved as ruins; ancient reservoirs are modernized and made to re-irrigate the agricultural district of Polonnaruwa. In the mean time, you will get a chance to see and buy some attractive wood carvings during your visit to Polonnaruwa

Next, you will visit World Heritage Sigiriya, “The Lion Rock” of Sri Lanka built by King Kasyapa in the 5th century A.D. It was a royal castle of King Kasyapa for around 18 years. You will eyewitness the famous Sigiriya frescoes there. The peak of the rock, with an area of nearly one hectare was the site of the palace. UNESCO and Central Cultural Fund have restored Sigiriya Water Gardens to depict its former glory.

After the journey, you will come back to Habarana. It will be a half an hour drive from Sigiriya. You can an Elephant Ride and eyewitness the jungle life there .You will be staying at the same place at the hotel Chaya Village (Habarana Village) for this night

This is the last day of your journey based on our schedule.

You will leave for Anuradhapura, a World Heritage site. Anuradhapura, the first capital of ancient Sri Lanka founded in 05th century BC. You will visit the ruins of Anuradhapura and will be found the largest number of ancient monuments of the great civilization of Sinhalese. Buddhism was established its first real home in Sri Lanka in Anuradhapura.

The 'Sri Mahabodhi tree' in Anuradhapura, is a very important place for Buddhists. This was planted from a cutting from the original 'bo' tree' under which the Buddha achieved enlightenment, still attracts thousands of Buddhist pilgrims from all over the world. The pillars of the brazen palace which once had nine stories, the image of the Samadhi Buddha, one of the finest places of Buddhists sculpture, the twin ponds, guard stones & moonstone are among the most famous monuments. In addition to that Ruwanveliseya Dagoba built in 2nd century BC and Thuparama Dagoba built in 3rd century B.C are very important places in Anuradhapura.

On your way back to Negombo, you will pass some coastal areas such as and Puttalam , Chilaw, Negombo , traditional villages , wild life areas , man made huge lakes and finally you will reach to Negombo beach , one of the most attractive beaches in Sri Lanka. There are so many comfortable hotels in this beach area. You will have to book and stay in one of the hotels and enjoy the golden beaches of Sri Lanka. How long you will stay in the beach area is up to you. According to the pre agreement, once you are ready to leave Sri Lanka, just inform us with detail before we start this journey . We’ll provide the free transport from the given Hotel to the Air Port.
